Next step to level up your paint work, would be working on the shadows and the highlights ;)
Doing so with darker colours on the shadows, and clearer on the highlights! Washes can help you to do the shadows, applying them in a controlled way (not all over the place, but in the "darker" places) will do the trick, at least in the beginning.
