Gobelin Wanderer
My painted version of the Gobelin Wanderer (apparently Froo la Zoik and his war-courser ogre Thooppa) - a Cadwalon model ( http://cadwallon.com/gobelin-wanderer.html ) based on the Paul Bonner painting ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Bonner ). The base is a Games Workshop plastic one on to which I stuck the stone floor that I trimmed from the original supplied with the kit to give the stones some thickness. Painted with a mix of Games Workshop, Army Painter, and Mig Ammo paints. I painted the parts as sub-assemblies to make getting to details and handling parts easier. The scale is bigger than common war-gaming miniatures - maybe 50mm rather than 28mm but I'm not sure as most of the other Cadwallon stuff I have seems to be to more common 28mm(ish) scale. This is a great kit with nice details but in a slightly soft resin/plastic. Probably this is more a display model rather than one to use in war-gaming.
