Concerning the base, indeed there aren't lots of details because I tried to reproduce a desertic planet like Tatooine for my army base and it may appear quite a bit empty...I totally agree.
For the hunched pose of Retius, on the contrary, as leader of the command squad he is quite self confident, and I tried to reproduce a pose like the guy is ready to block any charge and he is bending to be able to stop any guy without losing any inch...but I missed it apparently ;-) !
I really like the anticipation of whats about to happen and eager to see the result. The intense concentration of Retius contrasts well with Vroshs' cold visage. More detail on the base and not such a scared hunched pose on Retius would have increased my score. Excellent painting!
