Chosen Chaos Space Marine (1)
This is my first ever finished miniature. It is a Chosen Chaos Space Marine from the Dark Vengeance Box. As those are my very first miniatures I'm painting, I'll follow GW's Duncan Rhodes' DV how-to-paint videos from the Warhammer TV channel on YouTube. I am quite happy for this beginner piece, but I won't call it art. I tried to bring in some own color choices, e.g. for the faces on the shoulder pad and on the knee. I used the "standard" color scheme for skin (Bugman's Glow, Cadian Fleshtone and Reikland Fleshshade), but found it too light and put on some Agrax Earthshade to darken it. I'm still not very satisfied with the result, because I wanted it to look a bit pinkish as shown on the DV starter rule book. If you have any suggestions for my next chosen ones, please let me know. For now I'll attack the cultists.
