Dark Eldar group shot

Ok i did close-ups of my figs as many of you requested. KEEP IN MIND, these are nicely painted figs that are used in gaming, and are NOT meant for sitting on a display shelf somewhere collecting dust!! IN OTHER WORDS, i paint them nicely, but use them in gaming! I welcome constructive, nice comments. So no harsh criticisms please, if you have nothing good to say, SAY NOTHING AT ALL! ;)

The figures look striking but the paintjob does not jump out as being something special, which is a shame. I would have to say and regardless of whether you want to hear harsh critisisms or not, that the photos are really poor and do not show the figures off well enough. A photo makes or breaks all of your hard work painting up your figures and these are too blurry. I suggest reading up on some of the excellent articles on taking pictures of your minis on this site.

Very interesting paint job! Looks good. Highlight the weapons a little more and I think it would look great. But could just be the pix.

Heyas.. The basing is pretty good on these, and the painting is fairly clean. You might want to hit the metallics with some ink to give you better shading (and it's very quick to do, which is always important for someone who is painting for gaming) The patterns on your eldar are pretty neat, but since they are small, and repeat quickly, unfortunately much of the detail is lost. (this is a common problem with painting camo too - if you do it too realistically it really obscures the details on the model) so you might want to loosen up the pattern. I do like it though, it has a great Vorlon feel, like from Babylon 5.
