Try another varnish!! The gloss varnish looks cheap!! A very good matt one is "Modelmaster" from "italieri". I totaly agree with fastball24 limit your palette! Get rid of the blue metalic!

Your technique is fine; but your pallette is too broad. Fewer colors create a more pleasant look. I like the tattoos.
