Painting simple minis like this one without all that clutter of bags, straps and other frill items is a nice for a change and a lot of fun. I was practicing darker skintones and just thought this guy could use something different. I was stumped on color choices on this guy. So I just borrowed ideas from Samurai Showdown. ;)
