Custom JABBERWOCK
See the Model Turntable Display Video here: https://youtu.be/2bGKDvhSTac My Custom JABBERWOCK "BONES" Miniature Conversion from REAPER Original sculpt by JASON WEBE MODEL ASSEMBLY: This miniature is a REAPER "BONES" Miniature made from their PVC Material and comes out of the packaging badly misshaped due to this soft material and I did some work to have it stand and be posed properly. * A metal rod was put inside the bottom of the tail for support and filled/finished with a Knead-A-Tight/AVES mix. * The left ankle was glued to the tail for support with Gorilla Super Glue. * The left arm was cut inside the elbow joint and lowered and filled/ finished with a Knead-A-Tight/AVES mix. * Both wings, right arm and head are secured to the model and all seam gaps are blended/finished with AVES. CUSTOM WORK: * All custom work was done with a mix of Knead-A-Tight/Beesputty after the model was primer painted and those areas are not painted. They appear green. * Added longer tongue, taller head crest, thickened eyebrows, lengthened neck spikes, lengthened finger and feet claws, thickened chest, added extra bumps and scales around rear legs on tail added claws to wing thumbs, lengthened both top wing bone tips, added additional bump between wings on spine for symmetry. MODEL PAINTING: * To create a "Pre-Shaded" look the model was Primered with a base coat of Black Gesso (Liquitex brand) applied with a brush and Dry-Brushed with White Gesso (Liquitex brand) and then a Dry-Brush highlight of REAPER Pure White. BASING: * The model is secured to a LITKO brand 50mm 3mm thick plywood base and models foot and tail secured to the base with Gorilla Super Glue. * The Base was painted with Black Gesso (Liquitex brand). PREP WORK: * This One-Of-A-Kind custom model has been cleaned, prepped and assembled to a high standard. All mold lines and flash have been carefully removed and all cavity seam lines of fitted parts have been filled and blended smooth. REAPER "BONES" Miniatures are challenging in this regard. While I stand by the quality of my work, and consider this model to be a cleaned, fully prepped and assembled model, please note, upon close inspection, their may be slight imperfections or other undesirable areas of the miniature that may need further finishing which I don't consider needing to be done, but you may. The models base is intended to be finished in some way, or the model can be removed from it, and mounted on a different base piece.
