Scratch build tyranid bio-monster. The whole model is around 30cm long and 14cm high. I am currently writing an article with more pictures, but please don't hold your breath. By the way, what do you think about a whole tyranid army with this color scheme?

I think that if the claws had the same striations that the carapace has it would look good

Ok, seems like the claws should be changed. My friends also didn't like them too much, but behold. I have made a mold! I can cast the next ones with different arms. Oh, and the size. It is roughly 50% bigger than the Forgeworld miniatures.

Isn't it a bit big for regular game play? Seriously, it looks pretty good for a scratch-built. Tyranids are loke marines: most any color scheme will look decent. You can get more garish in teh color choice with the bugs, though. My best advice is to keep it simple.
