Frostgrave Skaven Warband (Island of Blood + bits)

These may not be the best painted minis, but I belive my painting technique is really unique. Long story short, I always hated acrylics and being a professional painter specializing in traditional techniques (such as tempera and watercolor) I devised a way to paint minis using natural, water-based paints. I prime my miniatures with diluted QOR Watercolor Ground and paint with a combination of self-made egg tempera, gouache and store-bought fake egg tempera (basically, leftovers from "serious" painting). I still use acrylic varnish tho. While tempera is much more difficult than acrylics and I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone who doesn't utterly hate the latter, it works for me and I found it greatly sped up my painting.
