Well I finally got a Xmas Sophie done! Of course it's over a year old.... might give an idea of just how behind I am, I even have the 2001 waiting to be painted. She was a fun sculpt to paint and I thought I'd have ready for Christmas to make an ornament out of her, oh well maybe next year. Hope you like her! A comment a day in 2004

I really like this a lot. The red looks especially nice - did you paint a redish/brown base and then add the dark red on top? However you did it, it looks really nice. The highlights on the high point of the wings looks less smooth than the rest of the paint. That's the only detractor I really see. The deail in the house and chimney is awesome, too. Very nice.

This is a nice mini, full of character and charm, the only think i find that could be better was the highlights on the top of both wings are a bit harse and a bit too strong. But overall this is very nice!
