I have about 10 years of canvas painting on about every medium out there. Am really excited about piking this up! One of my first miniatures, more coming soon.
I imagine it to be a bit different transitioning from canvas into the really small scale miniatures , but you have done some wonderful work on that blending... A really solid start, Painters struggle with blending even after years of experience... just keep going and you will soon learn all the little tricks to get clean finishes...

I think there is a discrepancy in the result of your paint job. You did some pretty good blending on his clothes (which in my opinion is a very difficult technique), but overall the result is a bit sloppy. It looks like you didn't thin your paints enough. Also, for my taste it is too glossy. But it is still a good result. Especially the base is great!
