Commander Farsight

This took me two days of painting to complete. The rock is a real rock. The model had a few conversions, not many, the leg was cut off and repositioned, and other stuff. The painting took about 4 hours. The model only took an hour to put together and base. The Picture isnt good, but the're getting better. Enjoy!

Never having heard of a berzerker, a shova or Commander Farsight as a character, I will let this piece stand on its own merits. The composition is very original. I like it. The painting could have some more dark shading and light highlighting to provide contrast and dimension.

alright i've thought up a response. no, i wasn't comparing his ability in any way to a berzerker or a horde of berzerkers in close combat. i was merely making the observation that commander farsight doesn't HURL himself towards the enemy. he doesn't live for close combat, or thirst for blood. he is still tau, which means he is going to shoot first, and assault last. just with him, he wants to do some damage. farsight does not = leaping into enemies.

seems a tad flat, no real highlighting or shading going on here, but definately a nice gaming piece.
