Hi there and welcome!
Pros: Colour variation, texture, shadows (in this case a bit of black-linning through washes and/or inks)
Cons: Missing background (even if its just a plain cardboard or a printed page of paper), focused lighting, some moldlines still there (but guessing reaper bones so they are terrible in those), focused shadowing on lower/inner parts.
