This is the first time I tried to combine acrylics and artist oils on the same figure......with mixed results obviously ... Any and all comments are welcome
Well first nice to see some oldschool warhammer stuff painted. Painting-wise I strongly recommend you avoid oils, as there are excellent acrylic-based washes and inks that are superior in every way. Next, the model lacks cleanliness, I can see a patch of unpainted chainmail, some green Spilling over from the sword pommel and Talisman and so on. Also, the picure is too bright (dont use Flash), parts are out of Focus, and there is dust and strage fuss on top the helmet. The Color choice itself is good btw, green and purple paired Looks nice. Keep improving, we all started this way!
