You are doing very clean and precise work.
The colors look a bit flat, though. I would encourage you to work with darker shades (e.g. washes for the metal parts) and sharper highlights to gove more structure and definition to the armor, the face, hair etc. When shades look ridiculously dark, and highlights extremely light, frmo the distance of a few inches (what you see while painting), the result for the observer from a foot or more away is normally just that the mini becomes easier to read and looks quite normal.
I really like the base and the freehand writing on the scroll.
