Not really sure why I even have this mini .. I think it must have been one of those impulse purchases or something :) Anyway, it has sat in my "to be painted box" for just too long so here it is. I tried to stick with an "Oriental" theme as he looks like one of those weird Samurai demon things from a Japanese wood block. I'm not sure if I pulled it off or not but I think he looks ok. The base was one of those nasty sculpted all in one things so I built it up on a block of balsa. Hopefully it doesn't show too much. I had another try at NMM too, maybe one day I'll crack it :) Sadly I don't see me having much use for this mini so it's on eBay. Anyway let me know what you think :)

Thanks for the kind words CBA. There is more shade on the Kimono (and everything else) then in the pic. I think the problem is two fold: 1) I only have a single lamp shooting rig which I'm still playing with to try and get the best out of. 2) I still don't have photoshop to tweak color. Hopefully all that will change soon.

I fell kind of dumb saying this, but I like the nipple a lot. That's the sort of thing that's pretty tough to get right colour-wise, and most normal people don't get a lot of practice on. I always mess mine up :( I'd give this mini a higher rating if the NMM was better, or if you used shaded metallics. I'm not as as hardcore about the NMM as some people here :)
