Beasts of Chaos Beastmen Ungor Shortspears and mutant ungors

Composed of current plastics, previous plastics, OOP metal Ungors and kitbashed mutant Ungors using Mordheim miniatures. In old Beasts of Chaos lore, human children born with chaos mutations often end up being abandoned in the wild, their parents unable to murder them or hand them over to the authorities. Sometimes these children get found and taken in by the herd and are known as Gaves. Turnskins is the name given to those who develop chaotic mutations later in life, who escape their pitchfork-brandishing kith and kin to find themselves running with the herd.

Micha has it exactly. The motley look of the group really adds interest and personality. Great job!

Thank you Micha. I'm glad you like the random look of them, it's something I am very keen to emphasise throughout the entire herd. I've taken the same approach with my Gors and Bestigors (please take a look at them if you get the chance). I've also posted a few photos featuring the odd Ungor, Gor, Bestigor and Beastlord etc, but I'll probably stick a few more up along the way. The herd currently only numbers just over a hundred models but I plan to double that. I'm still wondering what to put on the plain banners - I might well end up going with tunes. Cheers !
