It's been a while since my last big scale model! I wanted her loud, excessive, pop, saturated and all about warm tones; I tried to fill the weak spots of the usual large scale anime statue and to bring in this medium some of the definition, the contrast and the attention to lights, silhouettes and details we use while painting busts and smaller figures ;)

Incredible blend of realism and over the top coloring. I tried doing something like this on a female wizard a couple days ago, for me it was a practice in wet blending technique, painting cloth, blending colors, etc. Pieces like this I find super inspiring, thanks for sharing this!
