I am still trying to get good pictures with my digital camera. I have a 2.1 megapixel Canon S100 Power Shot. If anyone was any good tips on how to get better pictures I would love to hear them. I have read the articles posted here and think I am doing ok, but my pictures are not as good as some I have seen here. This pic was taken without a flash using macro mode with 3 desk lamps as lighting. One thing I am noticing is that I am only using about 30% of the picture area (I crop out 70% of the background). Is there a way to get the mini to fill more of the image area? The camera does have a zoom optical zoom function but I have not been using it. I look forward to hearing any feedback or critique on this miniature.
