Converted Primaris Space Marine Apothecary
More on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ticker.tocker/ I decided to not pay over $30 for one model when I had the Intercessor kit lying around. This marine was built on a Primaris Intercessor from the full Intercessors kit. A Forge World Iron Hands head with lenses was used. A Deathwatch marine's backpack and Tempestus Scion medic's pistol with a saw completes the medic's look. A Scion's medkit and knife add a bit of extra weight to the model - I for one think an apothecary should be laden down in additional gear. Holstered pistol for extra WYSIWYG. In the spirit of making plain white armour less dull, I've done a lot of stippling work in greys to add gritty texture and weathered the model down with assorted grime. I disliked the official apothecary, which is modelled as a marine calmly examining vital geneseed in the open while standing on top of a friend's corpse. My portrayal is a veteran marine in battle, responding to the calls of his battle brothers.
