really this upload is plea for help in how to take a damn decent close up photo with a digital camera, can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial??
as for the pic it looks ok to me and is a damn sight better than some on this site.Raise your camera a bit so the pic is pointing down a touch.also it looks like you do the same as me and have one harsh light behind the camera.this produces shine etc which I always get called gloss.try putting something over the light.I think its the severe bulb reflections that cause the bright spots.all in all daylight is the best for pics.Also in most pro photos you will see a graduated blue backdrop which makes a BIG difference....cheers
