Slaanesh Chaos Champion (Daemonette Conversion)

This is one of the first conversions I did when i started playing WHFB, I think this was my first use of greenstuff and the first miniature i chopped it's head off, please. I also did the same work on the mounted Slaanesh Champion on Daemonic Steed, which turned out a bit better than this one (second times are always better) Hope you enjoy, as allways, any comment or suggestion will be very wellcome. Nice attempt with the greenstuff, its realy difficult to sculpt, so I have no criiticisms (mainly because it's your first time). What concernes to the painting, watching this and your latest posts I can notice a huge improving on your painting skills. Your Grimgor, for example, is much better than this. But, let's go for the suggestions: Firstly I'd like to say that I agree to Banshee in everything he says, about the outlining and mixing tones. However, I think that the face is not good because of being too much plain, its very good to try doing faces soft and smooth (look to my celestine for example-which is obviously not perfect) but maybe some more shadings on teh deepest zones would be good, as well as highligting up to skull white to create this contrast. Your face just seems to have been painted of one colour base and not having any other shadings/highlights. By the way, always think about where the source of light is coming from, mainly when highlighting, I know this is something difficult to achieve, but the result is better than if you highlight where you want (my council for example is a giant mistake in this aspect, because highlightings are everywhere). I like the purple and the base. Maybe some brown ink on the sword would help to make it look like rusted. Finally, I can see some zones that are rough, mixing much more water to the paints could maybe help. I hope this helps and that you understood it too. You know where to find me if any doubts. C U!
