Fairy in a wine-glass

My girlfriend came with the idea of putting this miniature from Fairy Meat range into the broken glass. I used the lower part of the glass as the base for the mini, and covered the whole piece with the upper part. The wings were painted in pastel colors, while the colors on the fairy itself were muted with a slight addition of grey to every colour used, which created a kind of a "butterfly effect". As the wings were colorful and pastel - highlighted from pastel colours to white with delicate white "veins" - I decided to make the wings look like stained glass windows, so I made the "frames" metallic. I used metallic paints on this mini instead of NMM, because I wanted to achieve natural effect. I hope you like it - comments are welcome! :)

great idea and creativity. I would suggest a snow and ice on the base to enhance the glass visual. Of course on this particular mini there may have been a conflict with the mini's colour scheme. great job though.
