Fallen Angel Cypher

This was the second mini I painted about five years ago. The flock is worn off from use. I made a squad of Dark Angels Veterans with matching backpacks to field with him. The armour is painted with the old citadel metallic green paint right out of the bottle with a coat of the GW brush on gloss varnish that has stood the test of time.

Thank you wyrmling_x. This was the second minature I've painted in recent time and I've posted it here to benchmark my progress on CMON. This minature has seen many games and is well used. It has been touched up and the flock is missing due to wear. I have been painting regularly for aprox 5yrs since this mini. there is a squad of 9 more that were painted together with a simple backpack switch conversion to make a Fallen squad. This mini is going in my stripping jar now. :(

2.3? That's harsh, people. It's his second mini! Excellent start on painting, SIB. You've got the basics down (ie. keeping the colours where they belong). Some simple advice, that most everyone will agree with, is: 1) Thin down your paints a bit, 2) Take the picture from farther back, 3) Take the picture without such a harsh light (I believe you have your flash on - turn that off). Finally, 4) Keep practicing! I know how it is starting out, but with time and practice, you'll be doing just fine. Keep it up! There's tons of helpful articles here, just have a gander. :)
