I just started painting this without coming up with a scheme so its alittle unprepared, but i just had a flash of inspiration for the base, so i'm pleased with how it turned out. Not my best quality but i love 'em all the same

The base looks great, I think your flash of inspiration paid off! I also really like the leather plates on his armour, and his beard looks good too.
