Custodes Trajann Valoris NMM

I will add a base eventually but thought I would share it as it may take forever to get to it. This is my first real attempt at NMM. Figuring out convincing light source is so difficult in some places. Credit for much of my inspiration here should go to Flameon and Gareth Nicholas for excellent tutorials on Trajann Valoris and KnightErrant's Grey Knight NMM work in progress. Criticisms most welcome!

For a start, I have to say the actual model is ugly as hell, bulky, lacking any grace, one of GW´S biggest model sins in recent years etzc. The painting, however, is brethtaking, with beautiful textures and some fo the best NMM I´ve seen. The reflection on the blade is simply not from this world. Great, subtl (!) OSL. Please, o please, choose a worthy model, this is the worsk case of "pearls before swine" I´ve seen in the last 15 years... BTW this is year first model since 2008 - welcome back, mate!
