Landraider Prometheus feat. Helios

My first GW Model ever. I paint models since Mai 2003. This Landraider with Forgeworld "Helios" and "Prometheus" parts is my first try to skulp and paint a high quality Model. I painted it with 4x Shadows and in a "used-style". Should be look like the traditional Ultra-Space Wolfs Command Vehicle to serve the Fenris defence Forces. A grate deal of time was invested in making the doors full usable. You can open and close them cause I used wire to make them articulated.

The easyest way is to use a very small paper clip. First you cut in half it's lengh. U take the peace of wire and bend it in a 90° angle. Take the wire with a pliers and heat it until it glows. Now U take the uncolored door (!!) and press the hot wire in the door joint (connection to Landraider) [where normaly the landraider door should be opend]. You have to repeat it twice for both joints. Last part is that U take the second half of the paper clip to make a hole in the Landraider door connection. In this hole the door will be knitted. You have also to heat the wire to make a hole of same size. No U only have to put the parts together and paint them. Greetz EnQuI
