Did you hear that? Diorama, GD UK 2019
Hello! Here is a detail side of a diorama I have created for the 2019 Golden Demon in United Kingdom. I got a finalist and a commended card for it. The diorama is called: "Did you hear that?" and this shot shows an Imperial Guardsman filling his canteen with some water when he and his brother in arms hear a noise coming from the swamp they are near to. If you look closely, you can see the cold blue tentacle coming from the water, it has a venomous sting and it is ready to sting, kill and eat the veteran guardsman. His faith isn’t decided just yet, as he has two big knifes near him and he might be able to survive! More pictures to come. This diorama is a part of a series of dioramas I am doing with Imperial Guardsmen in different situations. The first one was called “Wrong planet” and you can find it in my profile. I am thinking of a third diorama at the moment to continue the series. Hope it all makes sense. I always put my heart and soul into competition pieces and I always hope it all comes together as planned and people can get what I meant and see all the Easter eggs.
