Arkeon Sanath

Arkeon Sanath from Rackham, painted for a friend. First time I tried to paint a Confrontation Mini, and it was quite difficult. I was lucky the mini hadn't so many tiny, wonderfull details as some from the same line have. Friend still have to decide the basing for his army, so I'm waiting a bit before finishing the base. Now, about the mini: I am quite proud of how the red color came across: I decided to make the "scorpion" bits almost chitinous and I hope it came out well. What I am not proud of are the highlights of the blade: I even mapped out which part should have been on light and which on shadow, and then when I went to paint I completely switched the two, achieving (or better stumbling on) a very wierd and unnatural (and not cool should I add) blade.

Love the armour, though the sword isn't to my taste as it dominates the whole figure. Good effort.
