I’ve looked at this for a long while wondering what would improve the score and I’ve a few suggestions. The armour looks rather flat in that there’s no single point that you could say was a reflection of any light, and consequently not strong shadow either. That slight lack of contrast is, as I know, difficult to achieve but given time and careful work makes a figure ‘pop’. In considering the base I was thinking that there’s insufficient small rubble around the big pieces which leaves the effect looking rather sterile. If you do an image search on demolition sites you’ll see lots of small stones, bricks etc beside and around the bigger bits. Now a hint I got from a really good painter, if on a base you darken the area away from where your figure stands it creates a ‘halo’ like effect drawing the eye towards the figure and making it stand out and look more effective. Your painting is neat, clean and accurate, so I’m hoping that these suggestions will help you along the road in the hobby.
