Hans von Habsburg - Space Marine Captian
I’ve made this Habsburg/Austro-Hungary themed Captain for a really good friend of mine. His name is Hans, and yes, he has ze flammenwerfer. The colorscheme for the armor is based on the greyish-blue KuK uniforms with the red line on the trousers. The right pauldron depicts the imperial two headed black eagle on yellow (heraldic gold) surface. The left pauldron depicts the Habsburg family coat of arms: the red lion with blue crown, tounge and talons and the abbreviation of the motto of the family (A.E.I.O.U. Austriae est imperare orbi universo). The cord of the pectoral cross has two sets of colors. The white and red from right to left was worn when acting as Emperor of Austria, the red and green from left to right as King of Hungary. Ze flammenwerfer was an obvious choice as a weapon :) The head has the characteristic Franz Joseph beard, which I tried my best to apply with greenstuff. Note the broken red star under his feet as well ;) Hope you like it!
