imperial army tank destroyer
Hey everyone, this is my latest W40k tank conversion: a kit-bashed tank destroyer made from leftover parts of a Chimera and a Leman Russ (plus lots of additional parts from the bits box). I was aiming for something between the old Destroyer tank hunter from Forge World and a German Panzerjäger IV/70 and I'm quite happy with the result. Like with my previous tanks I added a few field modifications, mainly in the form of additional armour plates at the sides and on top of the engine deck as well as some spare tracks at the front. Slight variations in color on the different panels are intentional and are meant to represent replacement parts. I'm not sure if I'm 100% happy with the overall dirtyness of the tank (or the lack thereof). Since I'm building a desert thermed army some more dust might be appropriate. What do you think?
