HLIN from Blackcrow Miniatures
So uhm... Lots of firsts in this one. These Miniatures are hella expensive, so I try to learn and try as much as possible with one go. It was the first time painting in the 75mm scale, which was really enjoyable. The whole diorama thing was a first for me as well. I'm used to painting only for gaming, where you are quite limited by the base. But after seeing the Mini, I was in love with the idea of her standing in a cave entrance, blocking the sunlight with her shield to take a look at the glowing mushrooms in the cave or whatever she would be looking at. It's far from perfect, but I'm really proud of it. Next time will be better though. I made the backpack lieing on the floor myself. It's a little bit shitty but I'm taking babysteps and anything above that would have been hell for me :D. Next I did OSL and SENMM for the first time here, which was just a drag. It really wasn't fun and I don't like the results at all. Especially the shield just doesn't strike me as visually pleasing. On the other Hand I really liked painting the different lighting on the mini. The warm sunlight from the outside and the cold light from within the cave. I like how it looks and i loved painting it. Anyway, would love me some feedback and nice (or not so nice) comments :) And excuse me for my english etc.
