Desecrated Stormvault
For this project I used a few GW kits which I cut up and altered. The mausoleum on top is magnetized, and can be easily removed for a more game-friendly piece. To create the 'portal,’ I mounted an older iPhone on the underside of the piece which plays a .gif file (two different variants can be seen in the photos, but there are limitless options). The phone has a dedicated battery pack to extend its play time. On a full charge, the portal will run for about 12 hrs - plenty of time for a full day of Warhammer.
