"Straddling a river of blood, smiling with blue lips and grasping its axe with gangrenous hands, stands War and overlooks its conquests" Returned to the mini hobby after a 20 year hiatus! Wanted to do the (Horse)men of the Apocalypse, but give them a twist. Starting with War, I made him a swollen, nasty dude with nary a scratch. More of an ancient, demonic armchair general than anything else. Love to hear this community's thoughts. First time sculpting a proper mini (Mainly Apoxie and some Green Stuff) and first time doing NMM to any large extent (decided to go with a particularly difficult bronze, so that was smart...). Sculpt has some glaring flaws that made it a bitch to paint. Lots to learn in the painting area as well. But hey it was fun (:
