Thank you! First - black primer. I use Vallejo PU primer. After that drybrush with BlackGrey from Vallejo. Then I covered models with the stencil. I have used a small net for the aquarium. Airbrushed some spots with Gray Green and Olive Drab from Vallejo.
Then take the stencil off and drybrush the model with Grey Green, but only edges, don't drybrush over the pattern. After that - decails. Then wash it with Nurn Oil to uniform everything. But don't overdo nurn oil over the pattern, or it will be nearly visible.
And add a bit of light edge highlighting with Gray Green mixed with a bit of white. I don't like to overdo edge highlights myself, but the models looks better, when there are some highlights on the edges. The last step - ultra matte varnish from AK with airbrush.
These are awesome and IMO under rated. I really like the subtle hex pattern on the highlights along with the matte black paint scheme. Would love to know how you painted these.
