Beyond the Gates of Antares: Virai Ancient First Instance Architector
The Virai lack a model for the Ancient First Instance, but after a string of victories I decided the standard First Instance deserved an upgrade. The W40k Necron Spyder had the right kind of look, but the body isn't nearly big enough. So I converted a Concord C3M25 to use as the "abdomen". Making that first cut into the C3M25 was hard, because it's an expensive model to waste if the conversion doesn't look right. Thankfully, I'm happy with the result, and it inspires fear in my opponent whenever I field the Virai.
