Babayagha, the Black Mother
I have always loved the Babayagha bust by Karol Rudyk and was very happy to snag one up! Took quite a while for me to build up the confidence to paint it up and do it justice, but she’s finally done. Played around with atmospheric lighting for the first time, keeping the backside in the shadows as if she was performing a ritual in the forest at night. Happy with how that came out! One of my entries for the upcoming competition at KMK ScaleWorld next month
