My entry for the metallicadept contest. painted using Vallejo metallics, including the alcohol based gold and silver. I have to say that in 30 degree plus temps they dry far too quickly, and they don't really mix with normal acrylics, so I found them to be of limited use. I also had a go with the metallic medium to make the red on the armour metallic, not sure it worked very well. I was pretty happy with the cloak on this one and parts of the metals came out alright, overall not my best, but I learnt some stuff about metallics.
