I built this diorama for a contest in my City and had an idea about Aliens (the 2nd movie) and an egg that they watch over in the sewers. At first only I had the alien at the concrete tube there and the alien coming out of the shadows with the egg in the middle. Then I wanted a light source and thought about electric cable which in movies sparkles sometimes (which is in reality not true) with a big flash of light when cutted. So my first time using UV resin and also OSL. Ive spent on 3 different models 20 hours for testing the right technique, goo and also order of colors. Metal teeth, Gas flame, Aliens slimey done with Gloss Varnish, flourescent Color was a nice touch. Alien at top is only half because it should fuse with the steel beam. 50-70 hours in total
