So while I was working on my last major Mini project, Archmage Teclis and Celenar, I found myself really enjoying the Non-Metallic Metal painting technique (NMM) and wanted to do more. Then I find this model at a game store, and knew I was in for a challenge. I definitely got my wish for more NMM. Possibly more than I thought I could handle. I'm glad I pushed through, because I am very happy with the results. It didn't help that I started the paint job over a few times on this one because I couldn't decide what color I wanted the body to be. At the end of the day, I like how the purple/obsidian look came out. It was inspired by the Jeweled Obsidian Panther mount from WoW.
