I dunno if this colour combo really works for orcs, he looks a little too much like a Hogswatch^H^H^H I mean, *Christmas* ornament. And, yeah, the gloss has got to go.
Looks like the paint you used for his skin is a little thick. He's also kind of shiney. The bad thing about putting Dull Coat on something like this is it would also kill the shine of the metal. I've found that you can restore shine post-Dull Coat by applying brush-on gloss coat to the areas you want to be shiney, like jems and metal.
