Chaos Dwarfs - Helsmiths of Hashut
My latest commission project for a client in Australia. The goal was to capture the heavy, oppressive grimdark aesthetic of Helsmiths. The armor plates were painted using my studio's custom "Burnt Iron" mix (Vallejo Metal Color Duraluminium + Liquitex Carbon Black + W&N Burnt Sienna inks) to create a deep, weathered patina. This cold, dark metal serves as a perfect contrast for the intense, bright volcanic OSL glowing from the magma bases and weapon barrels. Painted by Rhino and Navel Studio.
