Good face, hair, and staff. But I think there should be more different kinds of greys you could have used here. I can understand you wanted a dark scheme, but I think it could use more contrasting colors. Like the cloth, it could be lighter to contrast the dark armor. And if you think the armor needs more color, try adding the same gold on the staff onto the spikes on his shoulderpads or even the rims of the shoulderpads.
I also think the rock on the base is too large. It obsures the mini just a bit too much. Perhaps if it belongs on the back is fine.
Too much grey and silver. Between the hair, the armor, the base, and the loincloth. You make up for it a bit with the staff. The techniques displayed are sound, just add some colors to add come contrast.
