I would have to agree, the model needs some more drybrushing or inking to really stand out. It's still no shame to field this on the tabletop though.

it may be the effect of the photo, but it looks a bit caked. You need to thin your paint a lot more working on larger figures, and work in thin coats. The metal looks very flat and dull, as if it's gold leaf applied to the surface! You can get away with leaving black flat, but the metal needs at least some ink washes, I would say the same for the face and hair.
