Visions in Colour special miniature

I've bought two of these minis and as here can see one of my "visions". With this piece I started with the cloak and as my idea was to do it as a dark cloak, it reminded me of Matt Verzani cloak on his Celestial Wizard (Nicodemus mini). I decided to try a similar thing. So I made the cloak dark blue and I used wet-on-wet blending technique for shading it this time (I found it much easier to do blending with blues and greys than to do with reds, yellows and violets). Then I did the stars using several different colours (white, Bleached Bone, Red, Yellow). Finally I added the comet (just common comet, not the Warhammer twin-tailed one), two stars with coronas and a small galaxy. With knowledge gained on the previous piece I painted the legs of the mini as a striped trousers this time. Also as I mentioned before, the dragon head on the staff is painted as a skull. To give the mini dark look I opted for black hair. I also did few other things different way than on the first mini and my friends started to tell me that I'm painting a puzzle "Find 50 differences on these two minis". I want to sell this piece on eBay and so I went for a standard base used in Warhammer and other GW fantasy games for human models, ie 20mm square base. I also added a larger scenic base where I inspired by the running pose of the mini so I let her run on a path. The larger base is done this way: I cut a circle out of a thick plastic card and then I cut a slighly smaller circle from cardboard. I measured a size of the WH base on the cardboard circle and with a sharp knife I cut out a hole in the cardboard circle. Then I glued these two circles together and filled it around the edge and inside the hole edges with a modelling clay. After modelling clay dried, I just used standard technique of sand, stones and static grass, and I added a piece of wood (real wood) to the larger base. I also used green stuff to narrow the sides of the Warhammer base so there are not such big holes between the WH base and the scenic base. Just same as with my first piece I don't like the way the face turned out. I usually have no problem with faces, but both VIC 7 pieces I did I don't like the result. I don't know what to do with it, if you can help me, please write me, I will patiently listen to your advice.

Wow! I was very tempted to give you a 10 on this one. I like the dual base approach. One for play, one for display, and they appear to fit together flawlessly. Good job. And the text explaining what you did is awesome. Keep it up!
