This looks like it might be a good figure, but I can't tell... he's hideing behind that shield! :)
Your biggest issue here is your photo work. Your background and surface are too busy & distract fromt he figure and wash it out. Also the lighting makes it impossible to tell if you have done highlighting or if its light reflections.
Please reshoot the figure, it looks like good work!
