You guys are rough. Not that I expected 8's or 9's. But I was thinking some of my pieces were 7's. Anyhow it just gives me something to shoot for. This is an old Games Workshop piece I found buried in the bottom of my stash of unpainted stuff. If you like it let me know. Thanks

I agree that voting on this site can seem harsh but when you see the standard we're up against it can inspire you to improve. I really like the wings on this mini but the highlighting on the main part seems too harsh - maybe an ink wash would help bind it together(?) Also, I'd advise making a little extra effort with the base (like you did with your gnoll lord) as this seems to to attract extra points from voters.

This should be rated higher. Looks like a lot of work went into it. The wings look a bit rough, but the rest is nice. Here's an 8 to help you out.
