You know, this piece reminds me that for all the technique that goes into terrain building, all the effort that we expend (as well as the money and the time... so much time), that the basic motivation behind it all is pretty much the same as when we were kids, making battlefields for toy soldiers out of stacks of household appliances, or building forts for ourselves out of couch cushions. I mean, yeah, this piece is basic. It looks more like some sort of modern art project that a gaming prop. But hey, I'll guarantee you that before anybody built a Helm's Deep, somewhere at sometime they built something like this. Everybody who has ever posted a pic on this site has at some point in their past been yelled at by the parents or older siblings for leaving one of these on the living room floor. You got to start somewhere.
